This sophisticated device is designed to measure the dielectric loss, or Tan Delta, of insulating oils, thus providing crucial information about the condition and performance of these essential materials.OverviewThe HZJD-2Z insulating oil dielectric loss and resistivity tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with the GB/T5654-2007 standard for “Measurement of relative permittivity, dielectric loss factor, and DC resistivity of liquid insulating materials.” It is used to measure the dielectric dissipation factor and DC resistivity of insulating oils and other insulating liquids. The instrument features an integrated structure and incorporates a test cell, temperature controller, temperature sensor, dielectric loss test bridge, AC power supply, standard capacitor, high resistance meter, DC high voltage source, and other important components. The instrument adopts fully digital technology and intelligent automatic measurements. It is equipped with a large color LCD screen (800 x 480) with a Chinese user interface. Test results are automatically recorded and printed, allowing optimal use even without professional training.Main Functions and FeaturesThree-electrode test cell, compliant with GB/T5654-2007, 2 mm spacing, eliminates the effects of stray capacitance and leakage on dielectric loss test results. Equipped with an oil drain solenoid, allowing the test cell to be emptied and rinsed with the test sample without removal.Uses medium-frequency induction heating and PID temperature control algorithm. This heating method offers advantages such as no contact between the test cell and the heating body, uniform heating, fast speed, easy control, and strict temperature control within the preset error range.The internal standard capacitor is a three-electrode SF6 gas-filled capacitor, and its dielectric loss and capacitance are independent of ambient temperature, humidity, and other effects, ensuring instrument accuracy even after prolonged use.The AC test power supply uses AC-DC-AC conversion, thus avoiding fluctuations in mains voltage and frequency affecting dielectric loss measurement accuracy. The instrument can operate properly even with a generator.Optimal protection function: in case of overvoltage, overcurrent, or short circuit, the instrument quickly cuts off the pressure and issues a warning message. In case of temperature sensor failure or disconnection, the instrument also issues a warning message.The medium-frequency induction heating furnace is equipped with a temperature limit relay. When the temperature exceeds 120°C, the device releases the relay and stops heating.More convenient experimental parameter settings: temperature: 0 to 125°C, AC voltage: 500 to 2,000 V, DC voltage: 0 to 500 V.Large, clear backlit LCD screen. User-friendly interface: simply follow the Chinese menu instructions, enter the command, and the instrument is tested automatically. Results are automatically recorded and printed.Built-in real-time clock, test date and time can be recorded, displayed, and printed with the test results.Cleaned dry cell calibration functions. Measuring the capacitance and dielectric loss factor of dry cells allows determination of their cleaning and assembly conditions.
